About Thai Massage
The practical expression of loving kindness can be traced to Thailand more than 2,500 years ago from the Vajrayana or the Diamond Healing lineage of Tibet. It is deeply influenced by Indian Ayurved and Traditional Chinese medicine.
Thai Massage incorporates elements of mindfulness, gentle rocking, deep stretching, and rhythmic compression to create a singular healing experience. Yoga Asanas are used to open the joints and relieve the tension in surrounding muscles, which allows prana, chi, or healing energy to move more freely through the body
Receivers of the massage are allowed to experience a deepening into the asana (yoga posture) through a deep and gentle assistance, opening the joints without the resistance created when using their own power.
The use of gentle rocking, thumb pressure and rhythmic compression helps the body to be prepared for the stretches so that the person feels “invited” to receive the stretch and defense reactions are not triggered. Thai Massage is performed on a mat on the floor and the client wears light, loose-fitting clothing. The session can last from one hour to three hours or more. The treatment style is slow, deliberate, gentle, non-invasive, and suitable for even the most fragile person.

Thai Aromatherapy Massage
The use of essential oil extracts from plants in holistic treatments is believed to improve physical and
emotional well-being. It helps relieve stress and muscle tension, aches and pains and improves circulation. Through a combination of the ancient healing arts of Thailand and aromatherapy massage techniques, This massage helps promote energy flow and detoxification of the internal organs.
Thai Herbal Compress Massage
This herbal therapy was designed to relieve pain and inflammation. A selection of therapeutic herbs,
including “plai” (Zingiber cassumunar), ginger, turmeric and lemongrass, are wrapped in a muslin compress, steamed and then applied to the body in gentle pressing, circular and rolling movements. This massage is ideal for alleviating pain, stiff, sore or pulled muscles and ligaments, chronic back aches, arthritis, even skin conditions, migraines and chronic stress or anxiety. The blend of traditional Thai herbs used in these compresses has a relaxing and invigorating effect on the body and mind, soothing sore and overworked muscles while giving the body’s energy reserves a huge boost.
Thai Foot Reflexology
The genuine reflexology is the application of pressure onto particular areas of the soles of the feet. A reflex action in another part of the body is stimulated by the manipulation of each specific area. Unlike other massages that use thumbs, palms, hands, elbow, knee and foot, foot reflexology massage uses hands, fingers and a wood stick with cream and oil. According to Chinese medicine, the sensory nerves of the internal organs that spread throughout the body are mainly gathered around the soles of the feet. Therefore, the massage is effective in stimulating the functions of the internal organs.
